We're looking for an Assistant Product Manager to join us at The Timber Group in Herringswell!

The Timber Group is a fast-growing specialist importer, processor and distributor of sawn and machined timber products to the timber manufacturing and supply industry, and our site is home to one of the UK's most modern specialis sawmills, processing circa 40000m3 of timber through the site.
As a vital member of our team you will support the Branch by managing all the forecasting, buying and stock management for the branch. You'll liase with Stock Control, Operations and our Sales teams, so excellent communication skills are essential so that you are able to understand our business. You'll also be working alongside our Product Manager to negotiate with our suppliers to ensure the best deals for our business, and on occasion you will be required to travel abroad for meetings with suppliers.

We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as an Assistant Product Manager but you will need to be someone with good IT skills, including Excel.
